Reflection

What did you learn most about MMP?
What did you hate about MMP?
Write five things you learned from the MMP that you have not learned before
Write the three hardest challenges/problems you have faced in MMP\
Would you recommend MMP to other students? Why or Why not!

What I learned the most about the MMP was how to create a website, which I never thought I would be able to do, and I learned it was not difficult at all to create. It just seems very intimidating because most web sites are extremely colorful and have many different things on them. To create a simple website to inform people of something is not hard at all.

I did not really hate anything about the MMP project, It was kind of annoying trying to get together with every one when we all were on such different schedules. Otherwise I did not hate anything about this project, at the time I did think it was stupid, but once we were presenting them, I learned quiet a bit about each different subject and how to target a specific media.

I learned how to create a website to inform people of something you believe in or is impotant to you.
I learned a great deal about power point presentations that I did not realize or know before. I always thought a powerpoint should be as colorful and creative as possible, and it is actually the opposite. The simpler it is, and the least amount of effects is better.
I learned there is a website you can go to, to create a childrens book which is think is the coolest thing ever. People can print their own childrens book or kids can create their own childrens book and have it printed and everything for a very cheap price.
I learned that to put interviews or personal things on the internet of someone else, you need to have them sign a form saying that okayed having you put it on the internet, if you don't you can get in big trouble, possibly be fined or suied.
I learned that there is also a website for making a comic strip, I think that is really creative and could help many students out in school that need to create comics of fun things for projects and are not extremely creative themselves.

One hard challenge I faced was coming up with a good media to direct our website to. It was difficult because we did not know which age group would be the best to target.
Another hard thing I faced was trying to find the right time to get together with the group. Our discussion leader did not do the best job of trying to contact us all and find time to get together. She was gone for the first week of our project which made it difficult. The reporter took over and did a great job of getting us all together, but it was frusterating for all of us.
The problems we faced were not extremely difficult, there were a few minor set backs and disagreements. The hardest thing of all was getting everything on the website and having it all look good and flow good together.

Yes I would recommend the MMP to other students because it is a great project to help students learn about all the different types of resources are out there. I think many students would agree that they learned a lot about the powerpoint presentation and how to create a website. I really did learn a lot about creating a website, a powerpoint, a childrens book. I was surprised by how many people mistaken how a power point should be. I think this should be a project for every english class. I really did learn a lot from this project and it was nice to get away from writing a paper.
